Green, plush, earthy and responsibly harvested, MossMan’s fresh sheet moss is a favorite for soil topping, Orchid packaging, Green Walls, Living Walls, hanging basket lining, floral arrangements, terrariums, reptile habitats, decorations, displays, and arts and crafts.
Fresh Sheet Moss, like all of our Fresh Mosses, can also be re-planted and grown in your garden, yard, walkway, path, etc.
Sheet Moss is a versatile, low growing moss that enjoys a high transplant success rate.
Sheet Moss thrives in shade and mois areas. Make for an ideal ground cover.
MossMan Fresh Sheet Moss ships in pieces, or sheets, approximately 1/2 inch thick. Piece size will vary. Available in “Regular Fresh,” simply cleaned, packed and shipped to you as it’s harvested from the woods, or “Wet,” also known as our “Forest Fresh,” which is remoistened and packed wet in 10 lb Waxed Boxes.
Also available in preserved and dyed.

MossMan Preserved Sheet moss takes our beautiful Fresh Sheet Moss from the mountains of North Carolina and preserves it using our custom technique that leaves it plump, vibrant and moist-looking, while preserved and ready to last in your arrangement, dish, rock or fairy garden, potted Orchids, centerpieces, terrariums, soil topping, Green Wall, hanging basket lining, reptile habitats, decorations, displays, or arts and crafts!
MossMan Preserved Sheet Moss ships in pieces, or sheets, approximately 1/2 inch thick. Piece size will vary.
Sold in 3 grades:
-"Bulk": Random sizes. Perfect for plant topping, arrangements etc...
-"Select": Hand selected nicer pieces, at least 1 square foot and hand cleaned. Available in "Spring Green (some Yellow touches), Bright, Dark and Neptune (our darkest green with elements of blue undertones).
-"Supreme": Our top Quality! Each piece individuelle dyed and hand cleaned. At least 2 feet long and sometimes up to 6 feet. Only the nicest pieces. Available in "Spring Green (some Yellow touches), Bright, Dark and Neptune. This is a Natural plant and each piece's color may vary.

Customers describe our Fresh Mood Moss as “lush,” and “velvety.” Similar to sheet moss in lush, natural softness and appeal, MossMan Fresh Mood Moss ships in large, round, very full clumps, or pieces, which are ideal for displays, topiaries, centerpieces, orchid and other floral arrangements, dish gardens, rock gardens, and fairy gardens. A favorite amongst interiorscapers, and decorators. A very elegant, beautiful and vibrant moss!
Our Fresh Mood Moss is also used frequently for architectural models, miniatures, arts and crafts projects, reptile cages and terrariums!
